We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer pune Maharashtra . As a Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and contractors, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Safety Officer to develop, implement, and maintain our safety management system. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures, protocols, and equipment operation
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as OSHAS, EPA, and other relevant regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
