Job Title: Senior Network Analyst
Experience Required : 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or MNC environment.
Job Summary : The Senior Network Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the global IT network and security operations, maintaining network infrastructure in compliance with MAT IT Security Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver L2 Level IT Services across the organization through the IT Service Management System via ticketing process.
- Install and configure network/security devices and Network Management Systems (NMS).
- Administer and monitor Palo Alto / Panorama and SDWAN.
- Deploy and manage VM virtual platforms.
- Provide support and follow through on service delivery process documentation.
- Escalate service/support issues with third-party service providers.
- Monitor and maintain network/security systems (in-house/third-party).
- Maintain IT network/security infrastructure (licenses, software versions, etc.) and ensure service levels.
- Monitor the health of network/security operations to ensure IT infrastructure uptime.
- Troubleshoot network/security bugs/errors and diagnose and solve issues.
- Focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement reviews.
- Interact with IT Service Desk staff or customers to help set up systems or resolve issues as assigned through the IT Service Desk Ticketing System.
- Follow procedural documents and written instructions to repair faults or set up systems.
- Adhere to change management practices and IT policies.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles and handle password issues.
- Regularly update Service Desk Ticket progress/status, including time reporting.
- Continuously prioritize and review open cases with timely escalation to management.
- Establish good working relationships with internal customers, vendors, and other professionals.
- Participate in exploring, testing, and evaluating new technology.
- Conduct regular safety checks.
- Perform network health checks, including switches, access points, routers, and security systems.
- Ensure IT process and IT audit compliance.
- Experience in virtual platform knowledge (VMWare/HyperV).
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewall appliances, routers, Juniper/Cisco switches, and Cisco access points. IPSec and SSL VPN.
- Expertise in Palo Alto SDWAN technology.
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls or equivalent experience with Cisco/Fortigate.
- Expertise in Palo Alto Panorama.
- Palo Alto PCNSA, PCNSE, or Cisco CCNP certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in rotation shifts.
- Hands-on knowledge of network/security device management.
- Knowledge of network/security deployment, testing, and support cycles.
- Ability to adapt working style to changes as needed by IT management.
- Good customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
- High initiative, a sense of urgency, and the ability to drive issues to closure despite obstacles and ambiguities.
