Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Quality Assurance / Systems Manager to drive Quality Management Systems and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) practices across manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for strengthening quality systems, improving production processes, reducing wastage, ensuring process compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities  Drive and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) practices across manufacturing operations.  Develop, implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).  Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to achieve quality objectives.  Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures and work instructions.  Conduct internal audits, process audits and system audits.  Identify process gaps, quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).  Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S and Lean Manufacturing.  Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and other departments for process improvements.  Monitor rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaint trends.  Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports and audit records.  Train employees on quality standards, systems and process improvement practices.  Track JIT implementation progress and ensure timely execution of improvement plans. Required Skills & Qualifications  Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred.  Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems.  Practical knowledge of JIT implementation in a manufacturing environment.  Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.  Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S practices.  Experience in internal audits, CAPA and root cause analysis.  Good analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.  Strong communication and team management abilities. Preferred Candidate Profile  Candidates with manufacturing or engineering industry experience.  Hands-on experience in implementing JIT and improving manufacturing systems.  Strong understanding of quality processes and operational excellence.  Ability to coordinate across departments and drive implementation independently.
