Job Title: Trainee Chemist
Location: Wagle Estate, Thane
Department: Environmental Lab
Reports To: Lab Manager

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
- Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and methods used in environmental analysis is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sample Collection and Preparation:
- Assist in the collection of environmental samples (water, soil, air, etc.) from various sites.
- Prepare samples for analysis according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
2. Laboratory Analysis:
- Perform routine chemical analyses using techniques such as titration, spectrophotometry, chromatography, and other relevant methods.
- Follow SOPs and protocols to ensure the accuracy and precision of test results.
- Record and interpret data, maintaining detailed and accurate laboratory records.
3. Quality Control and Assurance:
- Participate in quality control procedures to ensure the reliability of analytical results.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
4. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
5. Coding and Decoding Samples:
-Label and decode samples accurately to maintain the integrity and traceability of laboratory work.
6. Data Recording:
-Accurately record and document experimental data and observations in lab notebooks and databases.
7. Report Preparation:
-Compile and prepare reports of experimental results and findings for review by the Lab Executive.
